The dataset behind this report is TopDevs.ai's live agency directory, comprising 70,026 development companies as of June 3, 2026. Per-agency ratings are aggregated from four independent third-party directories — Clutch, GoodFirms, DesignRush, G2, and Trustpilot — and recombined into a single weighted rating per agency, where weight scales with each source's review count. Where a source weights reviews unequally (e.g. extended-format vs. one-line), we use its published aggregate, not the per-review score.
Trust Score is computed daily from four orthogonal axes: profile completeness (logo, description, HQ country, headcount, founded year, primary category, primary industry), source diversity (verified ratings across 1+ external directories), recency (review activity inside 90 days), and verification (AI-verified profile / owner-claimed / reciprocal backlink). It is a comparative signal across our index, not an absolute industry benchmark.
Country counts exclude regions with fewer than 5 indexed agencies to avoid long-tail noise. Category rankings require ≥10 verified reviews on the top agency. The global top-10 requires ≥25 verified reviews for inclusion.
